New XE electric forklift trucks powered with AC.

After the successful market launch of 3 new warehouse trucks with AC technology OM completes now its range of electric counterbalanced forklift trucks powered by engines with AC technology.

The XE 13-20ac product range includes three and four wheels models with load capacities from 1.3 to 2 tons. The compact construction in module layout perfectly prepares the new XEs for narrow working areas. The new 48V three-phase AC engines are characterised by energy efficiency and outstanding consistent performances providing dynamic acceleration, increased torque, high gradeability and reduced maintenance costs.

Integrated to the front axle unit, the two AC engines, the brakes and the transmission are protected against dust and water and reaches the IP 54 protection classification. This design focusing on integration of all components keeping the noise level lower than 70 dB.

Lifting is also powered by a 48V - 9kW engine in AC technology.

The new XE 13-20ac is part of the OM INTRINSIC SAFETY PROGRAM (ISP) for increased safety in any working condition. The OM ISP of the new XE forklifts includes: Automatic speed reduction in curves, Electronic differential for braking stability on any ground conditions and the Mast Safety System locking the mast function when the operator is not seated.

The Cockpit is designed to increase the productivity. For the optimal comfort of the operator the standard Grammer MSG 20 seat absorbs any vibration. As option a Grammer MSG 65 seat with armrest is available. Directly in focus the LCD display reports speed, wheel position, hour meter, battery charge and diagnostics. On the display the driver can choose 3 drive progammes for adaption to the individual application. Based on latest technologies the electronic controller increases efficiency transferring the maximum of the current from the battery to the engine. The DIN standard batteries are available from 460 Ah to 750 Ah. For individual configurations a manual forward / reverse switch, sideshifter, ergonomic seats, lighting system, different wheels and closed cabs are available. For every logistic solution OM offers an entire range of XE electric forklift trucks with load capacities from 0.8 to 8.0 tons.
